Information Session on Article 1 re: Automatic Sprinkler requirement

The Dennis Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee invites you to a presentation and Q&A session at 3 pm, Thursday, October 9 in the Dennis Police Department Conference Room, 90 Bob Crowell Road, South Dennis. The presentation will review and answer questions on the following article to be voted on at the Special Town Meeting on Tuesday, October 21 at 7 pm. Article 1: Acceptance of MGL Chapter 148, §26H & §26I To see if the Town will vote to accept General Laws Chapter 148, Section 26H which requires the installation of automatic sprinkler systems in certain buildings that are considered lodging or boarding houses and Section 26I which requires installation of automatic sprinkler systems in certain newly constructed or substantially rehabilitated residential dwellings; or to take any other action relative thereto.
